Student Parking Information

New for the 2026-27 school year, all student parking spaces will be numbered and assigned to a matching decal number.

Student parking on campus is a privilege and may be revoked if students violate parking rules, attendance expectations, or the FCS Code of Conduct.  Specifically, excessive tardies, skipping class, or leaving campus without administrative permission will result in suspension or revocation of parking privileges. Students who park on campus without a valid permit will be ticketed and are subject to disciplinary action.

If another car is parked in your assigned parking space, please park in spaces 437- 454 near the stadium and report to the AP Office immediately for assistance.

Student Parking Eligibility

  • Students must have earned enough credits to be academically designated as a Junior or Senior by August 2026. 

  • Students must have cleared any/all school fines.

  • Student attendance, discipline, and academic standing are also reviewed and considered when determining student parking eligibility.

  • Participating in dual enrollment does not guarantee student parking - signing-up for the dual enrollment program acknowledges that you and your family are responsible for transportation, regardless of whether or not the student receives a parking permit.

  • Participating in dual enrollment, virtual coursework, athletics, or other school activities does not guarantee student parking.

Student Parking Violations & Fines

DO NOT PARK in surrounding neighborhoods! Unauthorized student parking is subject to being reported to JCPD and cars will be towed at the neighborhood/home owner's discretion. 

To help ensure the safety and security of our campus, all students parking on campus during school hours MUST park only in approved student parking areas and MUST display a valid 2026-27 CHS student parking permit. 

All vehicles parked on campus not displaying a valid year CHS student parking permit or parked in unauthorized areas will be subject to the following:

  • 1st offense – Warning issued and license plate recorded
  • 2nd offense –Friday School Opportunity and a $25 fine will be issued to student (through School Cash Online)
  • 3rd offense –One day of ISS and a $50 fine issued to student
  • 4th and subsequent offenses – Two days of ISS and a $100 fine issued

Painted Senior Parking

New for the 2026-27 school year, there will be a limited number of spaces reserved for painting by senior students.

Approved seniors will be notified via email and must submit a sketch idea to Administration for artwork approval before decorating can begin on scheduled date.

There is a $60 painting fee, in addition to the permit fee of $90.

Step 1: Student Parking Application

Students must submit the application themselves - the Microsoft Form application requires students to login with their officials FCS account username & password.

Students who will have BOTH a driver’s license and vehicle during the 2026-2027 school year (beginning August 3rd) should complete the 2026-2027 Student Parking Application form.

Step 2: Confirmation

Students will be contacted via FCS email with their application status. Please actively monitor for information.

Step 3: Payment Details

*only after receiving confirmation that application has been approved*

Students approved for on campus parking for the 2026-27 school year will be able to pay online for their permit ($90) starting TBD .

Senior students with approved artwork designs for their parking space will be able to pay online for their permit ($150) starting TBD.

There will be no refunds so pay online only if you have received an approval confirmation email!

Step 4: Pick-Up

Approved students will be able to physically pick-up their permit starting Monday, July 20th between the hours of 10am-2pm. (date is tenative)

Students must bring the following to the school in order to pick up their permit​:

  • Completed Fulton County Parking Agreement
  • Driver's License​
  • Current Proof of Auto Insurance or Motor Vehicle Registration (check expiration date)
  • Online payment receipt.  No cash or checks will be accepted.
